This film tells the story of the 10th century, when the Chola dynasty, under the rule of Sundara Chola, brought prosperity to the southern part of the Indian subcontinent. His son, Prince Aditya, and Rajaraja successfully conquered Kanchipuram and Lanka. The king of the Pandya dynasty, Veerapandiya, was killed in battle against Prince Aditya, leading a group of loyal Pandya warriors to seek revenge for their king. Meanwhile, a group of Chola leaders conspired to usurp Aditya's throne and support his uncle Madhurantakam to become king, led by the Chola dynasty's finance minister, Periya. Time is of the essence; Prince Aditya must defeat the armies of the Rashtrakuta dynasty, deal with the threat from the Pandyas, and confront Periya's conspiracy.
