Ordinary office worker Ryota Nonomiya (played by Masaharu Fukuyama) and his wife Midori Nonomiya (played by Machiko Ono) have been happily married for many years, raising their intelligent and well-behaved son Keita Nonomiya (played by Keita Ninomiya) together.
