Puppy Ah Han arrives in the strange land of cats, searching for the master swordsman who saved his life, hoping to become his apprentice. Unbeknownst to him, in this cat territory, dogs are the least welcome. Just as Ah Han is about to be innocently executed, the cat lord Ikachu chooses him as the new town sheriff. Naively hopeful, Ah Han goes to take office, only to be attacked by the cat residents who despise dogs. By chance, Ah Han meets the once legendary swordsman Jin Bao and discovers that Jin Bao is the very hero who saved him. Realizing his own lack of ability, Ah Han pleads with the skilled Jin Bao to train him, and Jin Bao reluctantly agrees to take Ah Han as his disciple. Jin Bao teaches Ah Han what it means to be a swordsman, while Ah Han rekindles Jin Bao's passion for life. A cat and a dog join forces to protect the town and thwart Ikachu's scheme.
