The escapee “female scorpion” Nami Matsushima (played by Meiko Kaji) is recaptured by police officer Takeshi Kodama (played by Toshiyuki Hosokawa). While being transported back to prison, the police car gets into an accident, allowing Nami to escape once again. Injured in the accident, she hides in a midnight cinema, where she meets lighting technician Yasuo Kudo (played by Masakazu Tamura).
