Ten years ago, gang leader Mutō (played by Kunimura Jun) saw his wife Shizue (played by Tomochika) go on a killing spree to protect him, which landed her in prison. As her sentence comes to an end, Mutō hopes to fulfill his wife's long-held dream of making their only daughter Mitsuko (played by Niida Tomomi) a movie actress. However, during filming, Mitsuko sneaks away, and the obstinate Mutō even drives away the professional photography team. At a critical moment, Mitsuko returns with an unsuspecting passerby, Koji Hashimoto (played by Hoshino Gen). With no prior exposure to film, Koji is forced to take on the role of director and, feeling desperate, he seeks help from the super fan Hirata (played by Hasegawa Hiroki), who has always harbored dreams of making movies. Meanwhile, Mutō's arch-enemies, the Ikegami group, led by boss Ikegami (played by Tsutsumi Shinichi), are preparing to launch a bloody gang war. Hirata and his team use this as a foundation to shoot a chaotic and wild gangster film that blends reality and fiction!
