This film is adapted from Akio Shibamachi's novel of the same name. Junichi Okada plays the role of Shogo Kanda, a former police officer who infiltrates the underworld. After losing his lover, Kanda is unable to extricate himself and falls into the abyss, becoming someone who lives solely for revenge.
