Cold-faced female detective Natsumi Yukihira (played by Ryoko Shinohara), who ranks first in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s complaint handling, is currently working in the Criminal Division of the Nishi-Mon Police Station in Hokkaido and has started a new romance with her superior, Michitaka Ichijo (played by Koichi Satoh). Meanwhile, three shootings involving nail guns occur in Tokyo, all pointing to Yukihira's ex-husband, Kazuhiro Sato (played by Teruyuki Kagawa). Unexpectedly, shortly after meeting with Yukihira, Sato is also murdered, making Yukihira a suspect. To uncover the truth, Yukihira pretends to abduct prosecutor Katsumi Murakami (played by Takayuki Yamada) from Tokyo, eventually collaborating with Ichijo and Kaoru Mikami (played by Masaya Kato) to investigate. The mystery surrounding the USB containing a huge secret also remains unsolved for a long time… This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Jin Kenichi and is the second feature film based on the TV series.
