Adapted from the short story of the same name by Japanese literary master Ryunosuke Akutagawa. The Grim Reaper Wang Xilong (played by Izumi Soko) falls in love with a girl named Lei Komachi, whom he is to take to hell. To bring Lei Komachi to hell, Wang slowly approaches her and, on a full moon night when they become intimate, confesses his identity as the Grim Reaper. The flustered Komachi lies to Wang, claiming she is pregnant with his child, hoping to escape from death. Later, Wang tells Komachi that he can take away another girl who shares her name, birth year, and surname. In order to survive, Komachi reveals that she has a friend who shares the same name, surname, and birth year. Unexpectedly, while searching for another "Lei Komachi," Wang finds himself in true love...
