The Suzakus family, a lackluster family crime syndicate, is on the decline and plagued by financial troubles. The head of the family, Tetsuji (played by Naomasa Muroi), and his wife Naomi (played by Kanako Irie) are completely drained by a familiar loan shark, Yoshida (played by Miyuki Torii), harboring resentment and nurturing evil thoughts. The eldest son, Tomofumi (played by Katsuya Mekkyuu), suspects his father's intentions and, along with his half-brother Yoshinori (played by Shoutarou Kamio), goes to the Yoshida household and strangles the family's second son, hoping for a windfall. Tomofumi is ruthless and cunning, instructing his brother to do all the dirty work of murder and corpse disposal. After this, the brothers team up with their parents to go after Yoshida. People die for money, and birds die for food... This film is based on the 2004 robbery murder and body abandonment case that occurred in Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture, known as the "Omuta Family Four Murder Incident."
