A story about a detective (Takuya Kimura) who disguises himself as a waiter to infiltrate a hotel and investigates a series of murders alongside the hotel front desk staff (played by Masami Nagasawa). The police deduce that these are connected homicides, linked by an inexplicable series of numbers found at each crime scene, and begin their investigation. Elite detective Kosuke Nitta (Takuya Kimura) from the Metropolitan Police Department deciphers the numbers, predicting that the next crime scene will be the Caltisia Hotel in Tokyo. However, there are no leads on the identity of the killer. As a result, the police decide to infiltrate the Caltisia Hotel for their investigation, with Nitta posing as front desk staff to track down the murderer. He is guided by the skilled front desk employee Naomi Yamagishi (Masami Nagasawa). Faced with a string of mysterious guests, Nitta, as a detective, prioritizes "arresting the perpetrator above all," attempting to strip away the guests' "masks," while Naomi, as hotel staff, operates on the principle of "ensuring guest safety above all," aiming to protect the guests' "masks," leading to conflict between the two. Nitta and Naomi clash multiple times due to their differing positions, but as the undercover investigation progresses, they gradually come to understand each other's professional values, developing an unexpected trust between them.
