Hashimoto Takumi (played by Takeuchi Riki), a student at the music university who also works part-time as a manuscript courier, is a wind-chasing youth passionate about motorcycles. By chance, he meets Fuyumi (played by Watanabe Noriko), the younger sister of his senior Sawada Hidemasa (played by Miura Tomokazu), and they spend a romantic night together. For Hashimoto, this is merely a fleeting romance essential to a motorcycle man's life; however, for the pure-hearted Fuyumi, it marks the beginning of a beautiful love story. Under pressure from Hidemasa, a troubled Hashimoto drives alone to Shinshu, intending to think carefully about his relationship with Fuyumi. But there, he encounters the lively and outgoing girl Shiraishi Miyoko (played by Harada Kiyoko), who also loves motorcycles. After returning to Tokyo, Hashimoto ends his relationship with Fuyumi, and at the same time, he begins to connect more with Miyoko. It seems to signal the start of another romance... This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Kataoka Yoshio.
