This work is a sci-fi youth story featuring Hadashi, a high school senior who is a period drama otaku, as he struggles to create a period drama with his friends. Frustrated by the shiny youth films being made in his film club, Hadashi encounters a perfect candidate for the role of a samurai, Rintaro. The group immediately begins film production with the aim of screening it at the culture festival, but it is revealed that Rintaro is actually a time traveler from the future.
