John Boone, sentenced to six years for killing a little girl in a drunk driving accident, has been released from prison. From the moment he stepped out of the prison gates, the vengeful eyes of the girl's father, Freddy, were fixed on him. The tragic scene from six years ago is indelibly etched in Freddy's memory. He runs a jewelry store, but spends most of his time drinking in the office and frequents seedy places at night, drunkenly cavorting with women whose names he doesn’t even know. In this vicious cycle, he has lost his wife, his young child, his house, and his will to live... Now, all he wants is to take matters into his own hands and kill the perpetrator for relief. Meanwhile, John Boone does not feel any less guilty after serving six years; he isn’t thinking about starting a new life after his release, but rather contemplating the value of his own life.
