As the saying goes, evil people meet their match. The bully Hamilton (Neal McDonough) has gathered a group of thugs to terrorize a small town in Washington State for years, extorting the locals, and even the local police are powerless against them. One day, Special Forces soldier Chris (The Rock) returns home after retiring. Hoping to settle down at his father's lumber yard, Chris finds that his hometown is no longer the peaceful and beautiful place it used to be; his father's lumber yard has been taken over by Hamilton and turned into a casino, and his high school girlfriend has been coerced into becoming a dancer under the threat of the criminal forces.
