Ted (voiced by Kerry Shale) is an ordinary construction worker from Chicago, but he has dreamed of becoming an archaeologist since childhood, which often leads him to daydream at work and get fired repeatedly. After being fired for the seventh time, Ted visits his archaeologist friend Professor Humbert, who has just been invited to explore an important discovery in the ancient Incan city but unfortunately cannot go due to illness.
