Nick (Ben Safdie) and Connie (Robert Pattinson) are brothers who share a close bond. Nick suffers from cognitive impairment, requiring regular therapy sessions. Connie plans a robbery, but ultimately, the heist fails. Connie manages to escape from the police, but Nick is not so lucky and ends up in prison. Connie wants to bail his brother out because this place is too dangerous for someone like him. However, the bail is set at $10,000, and Nick can't possibly come up with that amount in a short time. With only one option left, Connie decides to help Nick escape from prison. However, his escape plan is as disastrous as his robbery plan, leading him to a series of unexpected troubles.
