After undergoing harsh tests, Kasahara Iku (played by Nana Eikura) gradually grows into an excellent member of the library defense force's special unit. After the battle to defend the Odawara Library, she seems to finally realize that the prince she has been thinking about for years is actually the often grumpy instructor, Dojo Takumi (played by Junichi Okada). One day, Iku's parents make an unexpected visit, leaving her flustered, as she has never revealed her true job to them. A deaf girl, Nakazawa Marie (played by Taoka Tsuchiya), has secretly had a crush on the older Kōmaki Yoshihisa (played by Kei Tanaka) for years, but little does she know that Kōmaki has been arrested for being accused by the Good Behavior Squad of distributing harmful books to the disabled. On another front, a museum researcher named Asahina Shuji (played by Aoi Nakamura) approaches Shibazaki Asako (played by Chikage Kuriyama) with ulterior motives behind his kind smile. Meanwhile, Tezuka Hikaru (played by Sota Fukushi) receives a series of mysterious phone calls from someone who holds the future of the library force in their hands... This film is adapted from the original work by Hiro Arikawa.
