Adam McKay, the director of "The Big Short," which focused on the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis, has recently signed a deal with Paramount to direct a biopic about former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney. Brad Pitt's production company, Plan B, will once again collaborate with McKay after "Moneyball" and "The Big Short" to produce this film. McKay hopes to begin filming the project in the spring of 2017 and release it by the end of the year. He is currently looking for suitable actors.
