Adapted from the novel of the same name by Takashi Suzuki. Nanbu Ruroku (played by Hidetaka Takahashi) is a taciturn boy at Okayama High School who silently has a crush on the pure girl Michiko (played by Junko Asano), who lives under the same roof with him. One day, Ruroku teaches a senior student a lesson for insulting Michiko, catching the attention of the school’s top fighter, Kame (played by Yusuke Kawatsu), who introduces him to fighting techniques. Through Kame's introduction, Ruroku joins the largest gang at Okayama High School, OSMS, led by Za'an (played by Mitsuo Kataoka). With his exceptional skills, Ruroku quickly becomes the deputy leader of the gang. However, Ruroku struggles to express his feelings for Michiko, and as conflicts within the gang accumulate, he ultimately leaves Okayama and transfers to Nishitobo Junior High School in Wakamatsu. But his reputation as a delinquent precedes him, and the troubles around him only multiply…
