The story revolves around a young man from rural Spain, Miquel (played by Miguel Mateo 'Miguelín'), who comes to Barcelona in search of a livelihood. However, reality is harsh, and his meager income and exploitation by middlemen shatter his dreams of city life, leaving him disillusioned and losing confidence in life.One day, he stumbles upon an amateur bullfighter school, as bullfighting is a high-paying and renowned profession in Spain. Thus, Miquel joins the bullfighting school and dedicates himself to learning the craft. Through rigorous training, Miquel displays exceptional talent and quickly becomes an outstanding bullfighter. With success comes honor and wealth; he brings his parents to Barcelona and builds his own house. One day, a promoter approaches Miquel with an offer to compete in the United States, a turn that completely changes his life.
