A comedy set in 1990s Beijing. The film tells the story of a struggling movie projector operator and his son who hope to get rich by opening a bootleg film processing factory. The movie is written and directed by Australian director Sam Voutas, inspired by his experiences growing up in Beijing during the 1980s and 1990s and the booming bootleg film industry during that time. The film was partially funded through crowdfunding and is a heartwarming exploration of father-son relationships, morality, and the significance of being a role model for others.
