Based on true events, it tells the heroic deeds of Soviet officer Alexander Pechersky. The story takes place at Sobibor, one of the four major concentration camps in Poland, which was a death camp. However, Alexander Pechersky achieved the impossible: within three weeks, he organized a rebellion among the prisoners and successfully facilitated the escape of a large number of them. Although some were shot during the escape, the remaining survivors joined the anti-fascist guerrilla fighters.
