What is the boundary between truth and illusion? Can our senses help us understand the world? The film unfolds a series of philosophical and psychological questions through the story of a photographer. The protagonist is photographer Thomas (played by David Hemmings), who one day captures a series of photos of a young couple in the park. Unexpectedly, one of the women in the photos, Jane (played by Vanessa Redgrave), is determined to retrieve her negatives at all costs. This leaves Thomas confused, as he believes the photo may have captured some unspeakable secrets. Indeed, when he enlarges the photo, he sees a body and a person holding a gun. The outline of a murder case unfolds in Thomas's mind. He returns to the park to find the body, but no one believes his speculation, and his friends are unwilling to help him investigate what really happened. The next day, when Thomas goes back to the park, he discovers the body has vanished without a trace, leaving only a group of people engaged in a virtual tennis match, hitting an imaginary ball. &*&vod_class: Drama, Mystery, Thriller
