Amber (played by Rose McIver) is a young and ambitious journalist with a passion for her career and grand ideals. By chance, Amber receives a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interview the soon-to-be-crowned Prince Richard (played by Ben Lamb). Unexpectedly, Amber finds herself becoming Richard's tutor, but the silver lining is that she gets to interact closely with the rumored playboy, during which Amber discovers another side of Richard that is unknown to the public. As time goes by, a spark of love begins to develop between Amber and Richard, while a secret comes to light, leaving Amber unsure of what choice to make.
