In a future world, the military develops a serum to enhance soldier combat capabilities, but it backfires, causing many civilians to become infected with a failed experimental drug, resulting in a group of biologically altered beings. The military constructs a vast isolation facility and develops a final weapon against these beings. Consequently, the bioweapon organization sends a female warrior, Violet (played by Milla Jovovich), to infiltrate the military and violently seize the final weapon. Unable to suppress her curiosity, Violet opens the packaging of the final weapon and discovers a young boy (played by Cameron Bright) inside. It turns out that the boy possesses a blood antigen that can eliminate the bioweapon beings, and Violet believes this blood antigen could also revert the beings back to human form. Dissatisfied with the organization's brutal solutions, she decides to betray them, taking the boy, who calls himself "Number 6," on a desperate journey to evade the military and the bioweapon organization. However, there is an even greater secret behind the boy yet to be unveiled.
