Jack (played by Leon Lai) has followed Brother Pi for many years, while Ah Hao (played by Lau Ching-wan) is Brother Zui's capable assistant. The two men serve their respective leaders, but they have long heard of each other's reputations. During one operation, Ah Hao lets Jack go. The two meet in a narrow road, crashing into each other and crawling out of their cars, each holding a treasured bottle of red wine they brought from home. They then go to a small bar with their girlfriends Qi (played by Monika Cheng) and Ling (played by Leung Yi-ling) to drink heavily, claiming it was fate they met so late. They agree to come back for a drink after their battle, yet both know that once they part ways, their next meeting will be a life-and-death struggle. Ah Hao and Jack end up severely injured in Thailand, but the boss gets involved, breaking Ah Hao's legs and leaving Jack completely unconscious. After hearing the news, Qi and Ling rush to Thailand but encounter unforeseen circumstances. A year later, Brother Pi and Brother Zui remain cordial but avoid discussing the past. Ah Hao is left in a dire situation, and the question arises whether Jack, who does not inquire about the underworld, will return. Can the True Heart Heroes survive, and will they fulfill their desire for revenge?
