Adam (Liam Hemsworth) works for a very large telecommunications company and is an ordinary member at the grassroots level. A colleague who is very close to Adam is about to retire, and loyal Adam embezzles company assets to hold a grand farewell party. Adam's reckless action angers his boss, Nicholas (Gary Oldman), who accuses Adam of embezzlement and threatens to sue him. He then tells Adam that if he can help him by infiltrating his competitor's company as an undercover agent, he might consider dropping the charges against him. Under pressure, Adam has no choice but to comply. With Adam's help, Nicholas indeed gains many unknown business secrets, and the company thrives as a result.
