Tito is a shy ten-year-old boy living with his mother. Suddenly, an unheard-of epidemic begins to spread—people fall ill simply from feeling fear. The outbreak spreads throughout the city, causing panic and allowing the infectious disease to rage. Tito soon discovers that the cure for this illness is related to his missing father's research on bird calls. Together with his friends—the brave Sarah, the straightforward and humble Buí, the arrogant yet helpful rich kid Theo, and his sidekick—they embark on a journey to save the world. Tito’s research into the antidote also becomes a quest to find his missing father and his own identity, and the relationships between Tito, his friends, family, and rivals are highlights of the film.
