In this film, Lloyd plays a department store clerk. The company, for promotional purposes, hired a stuntman to perform the incredible feat of climbing from the ground floor to the rooftop. However, the stuntman gets into a dispute with a traffic officer on the way and is unable to arrive. The department store, needing to account to the gathered crowd, has no choice but to let Lloyd stand in as the performer and perform the stunt in front of everyone.
