A girl named Shiori (played by Anna Ishibashi) is awakened by a strange noise and discovers that it comes from four 10-yen coins minted in Showa 63 (1988). She looks through her mother's diary, which records an incident that her mother experienced while in her first year at Kitayamada High School in 1988. On July 18, her mother's classmate died from gas poisoning. Shiori suddenly realizes that the day the coins are making noise is the death anniversary of that classmate! Kitayamada High School has been abandoned for a long time and is scheduled to be demolished soon, so Shiori decides to go there to uncover the truth.
