This film weaves together six incidents of sexual harassment, reflecting the indescribable pain of modern women through the perspectives of seven female directors. Sheila's romantic dinner with her husband is disrupted by an unwanted advance; Aimee finds an uninvited guest in her room after a wild party; Alexi is a rookie prosecutor handling Nina's long-awaited sexual assault case; young Mira encounters two scumbags on the bus during her commute to school, where verbal abuse becomes her nightmare in front of many witnesses; ambitious theater actress Anpu rehearses a scene about being raped; Kate recounts her past experience of being sexually assaulted by a male colleague at a company party… This project aims to present the situation of women in the post-#MeToo era. Each story in the film could happen to women in various professions, allowing all female viewers to deeply relate. It is essential to provoke public discussion about internalized gender ideologies and stereotypes, as well as the oppressed circumstances of women in a patriarchal society. Only when the topic of gender equality is widely discussed and acknowledged can there be a chance for change. The film won Best Film at the Durban International Film Festival in South Africa and the Jussi Awards for Nordic Cinema in Finland.
