Yoav (played by Tom Mercier) is an Israeli veteran who yearns for the romantic and open atmosphere of France, so he arrives alone in Paris. However, he is soon robbed, leaving him without any belongings. In this critical moment, an artist couple, Caroline (played by Quentin Dolmaire) and Emile (played by Louise Chevillotte), come to his aid, preventing him from ending up on the streets. After this incident, Yoav decides to completely abandon his nationality and identity to become a thorough Frenchman. He refuses to speak his mother tongue and learns French through memorizing synonyms. Soon, Yoav discovers that although Caroline and Emile appear friendly, they are actually exploiting him. Yoav's tragic experiences on the battlefield become fodder for Emile's creations, while Caroline tries to satisfy her insatiable sexual desires with Yoav's strong body.
