The Jesse family consists of kind-hearted church members whose creed is: thou shalt not kill. However, with the outbreak of the Civil War in America, Jesse's eldest son, Joshua, joins the battlefield to protect his homeland and faces the moral dilemma of killing. Concerned for his son's safety, Jesse decides to venture deep into the war zone to visit him, but finds himself in a life-threatening crisis.
