The American Museum of Natural History reopens, and security guard Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) leads Theodore Roosevelt (Robin Williams) in planning a spectacular opening show. However, shortly after the show begins, Teddy and the monkeys fall into chaos, causing all the museum's friends to wreak havoc, leaving Larry in a state of panic. After the event, he discovers that the Golden Tablet is being corroded by a green substance, which seems to be causing the exhibits to go wild. Larry researches and concludes that there are hidden secrets behind the Golden Tablet. In order to stop the chaos from spreading, he decides to seek help from Pharaoh Akhmenrah's father at the British Museum, and of course, that quirky collection of exhibits follows him. Along the way, they encounter Sir Lancelot from the Round Table and get separated from partners like Octavius. The long-awaited incredible adventure unfolds under the night sky at the British Museum…
