Following the 2008 theatrical release of "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" and the 2011 direct-to-video sequel "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2," Disney launched the third installment of the series, "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta!," in the fall of 2012, also as a direct-to-video release in the United States.
In the story of "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3," the Chihuahua family from Beverly Hills is off on new adventures! Papi, Chloe, and their five puppies follow their owners Rachel and Sam as they move into a luxurious hotel that boasts a special SPA just for dogs, making it the perfect vacation paradise where every day feels like a carnival! However, the youngest member of the Chihuahua family, Rosa, is feeling down; she believes she is too small and insignificant, seeming like the least important member of the family. Now that Papi knows about Rosa's feelings, how will he help her build confidence, discover her strengths, and unleash her potential?
