The movie tells the story of three single men in Manhattan. Due to Efron's heartbreak, his good buddy decides to "share the joys and sorrows" of remaining single with him, chatting, drinking, and hitting the bars, and the three immerse themselves in their single lives happily. However, romantic opportunities always arise when you least expect them, and the three begin to fall in love, seeing their single plan on the verge of collapse, yet they still have to pretend to be single playboys in front of their buddy, leading to a series of comedic situations.
