The Spanish director Kaye Casas, who impressed audiences with "The Damn God," returns with a new work, "The Damn Coffee Table," where the character that disrupts lives is changed from God to a coffee table. A pair of new parents argue incessantly in a furniture store. The husband, who usually always submits to his wife, insists on buying a uniquely designed coffee table that he is particularly fond of, and ultimately, he joyfully brings the coffee table home, unaware that it will become the worst decision of his life. The video intensifies feelings of inner anxiety and fear through strong visual composition and sound design, offering a profound depiction of relationship dynamics, alongside a series of shocking accidents and unsolvable dilemmas. There are no ghostly apparitions or possession scenes, yet it is brutally shocking and absurdly humorous.
