The ninja legion led by Kuroshovel (played by Akira Kobayashi) fails in their mission, while Yagyu Sayaka (played by Kayo Matsuo) continues to pursue the whereabouts of Baito and his son with her women assassin's group. The secret method of blue jade production from the Awa domain was stolen by the shogunate, and Baito (played by Tomisaburo Wakayama) is hired to assassinate the thief. Throughout their journey, Baito and his son are continually attacked by Yagyu Sayaka's female army, but they manage to fend off each assault. Baito boards a transport ship, with Yagyu Sayaka following closely. Sensing danger, the bodyguards, the Benten brothers, set the ship on fire and escape, allowing Baito and his son, along with Sayaka, to narrowly escape. The Benten brothers flee to the desert, defeating the Awa assassins waiting there, but ultimately cannot avoid a life-and-death battle with Baito...
