An original documentary produced by NetFlix, about the renowned war photojournalist Chris Hondros. Directed by Hondros's friend Greg Campbell, this documentary recounts Hondros's experiences as a war photographer and features many precious photographs he captured. The protagonist, Chris Hondros, was an American war photojournalist and Getty photographer. Beginning with the Kosovo War in 1999, he reported on numerous conflicts and wars, including the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Iraq War, and the Afghanistan War, and received multiple international photography awards. In 2006, Hondros received the highest honor in war photography, the Robert Capa Gold Medal; in 2007, he was named a "Photographic Hero" by American Photography Magazine; and in 2008, he received a finalist nomination for the National Magazine Award. On April 21, 2011, Hondros was killed by shelling in Libya, suffering grave injuries, at the age of 41. The day before his death, he was filming the urban warfare between Libyan opposition forces and government troops in Misrata.
