Myung-joo (played by Kong Hyo-jin) and Myung-eun (played by Shin Min-a) are half-sisters with different fathers, but their personalities are worlds apart. Myung-joo has always lived a life of go-with-the-flow, not taking the initiative nor rejecting anything, letting fate take its course while she has her own tricks to navigate through. To outsiders, her life may seem dull and aimless, but Myung-joo finds it quite fulfilling. However, one day, Myung-joo, who has never liked causing trouble, unexpectedly decides to adopt a daughter, a choice that thrusts her into the spotlight of public opinion, but Myung-joo is utterly unconcerned about it. Myung-eun, on the other hand, is serious and conservative, striving for perfection in everything, including her studies and career, and after hard work, she finally lands a coveted job in a prestigious company. Yet, even with this success, Myung-eun still feels a deep sense of dissatisfaction. The death of their mother brings Myung-joo and Myung-eun back to their long-lost hometown, where they plan a trip to help alleviate their sorrow, thus setting off on a journey that seems to strengthen their sisterly bond.
