Thomas (played by Rafael Cardoso) was born with his eyes tightly shut for several weeks. His mother, a medical worker, believed that the child would open his eyes when he was ready. The first thing Thomas saw was his older half-brother Francisco (played by Jocatilde Gabriel Vasconcellos), who is six years his senior. That moment seemed to seal their fateful love. As they grew older, Thomas increasingly idolized Francisco, who in turn cared for Thomas deeply. Their overly intimate interactions left their parents at a loss. Although worried that the brothers might cross societal boundaries, the family chose to accept their love. After many changes in their lives, Francisco and Thomas finally became lovers. However, Thomas needs to train for three years in Russia for the Olympic games. Can the blood bond between the two withstand the test of separation? This film is Brazil's most controversial gay movie. The director transcends bloodlines and sexual orientation, telling a story of unwavering love between two brothers, conveying stunning visual effects amidst dreams and conflicts, incest and beauty.
