The adorable girl Xiaomei suddenly vanishes without a trace. Nine individuals who intersected with her life gradually piece together the outline of Xiaomei's existence through interviews and memories. The landlord, ex-boyfriend, beauty company owner, and mother each knead their recollections to form a vague statue of her character. The shy and anxious drug-addicted girl flits back and forth between the past and present, leaving no one certain about her physical whereabouts or the state of her soul. Director Huang Rongsheng's debut feature film is selected for the Panorama section of the Berlin Film Festival, with Golden Horse Award Best Director Chung Mong-hong serving as producer and cinematographer. Huang Hsin-yao, director of "The Great Buddha+," provides the narration, blending mystery and dark fantasy together. In the dim and obscure light, a faint figure wanders through the indifferent corners of Taipei, lonely and desolate.
