A-B (played by Zhou Yumin) is a down-and-out motorcycle racer. Six years ago, he faltered in a race and has been in decline ever since, leading his wife Fang Jiawei (played by Yang Mi) to leave him. A-B desperately searches without any clues, posting notices about his runaway wife to no avail. He falls into despair, drowning his sorrows in alcohol and becoming a compulsive gambler, which draws criticism from Li's father and his daughter (played by Vivian Hsu). Luckily, his friend Ma Niu (played by Chen Jiahua) helps him with laundry and cooking.
