In India, tens of millions of children suffer from hunger while being unable to receive an education each year. To address this issue, the government, in cooperation with the Akshaya Patra Foundation, has established a “free lunch” mechanism to provide free meals to students in public schools. However, providing meals for millions of students is not an easy task; hundreds of workers have to wake up at midnight to work. This documentary explores the perspectives of organizers, workers, teachers, and students, comprehensively showcasing the Indian government's efforts to alleviate child hunger and the current achievements of the entire project. Through this film, viewers can gain insight into the living conditions of the lowest strata of society in India and step into the lives of its people in this religious country.
