The film tells the story of the "Fu Lu Shou" three brothers' relationships regarding family, friendship, and love, depicting the little joys in the lives of small characters striving for their dreams. The three brothers, "Lu Lan, Jie Shou, and Fu Xiang," who work multiple jobs hard, often have comical mishaps and get into trouble. "Lu Lan" (played by Wong Cho Lam) proposes to his girlfriend "Kai Qi" (played by Fiona Sit), but Kai Qi's father (played by Eric Tsang) refuses to let his daughter marry him, believing Lu Lan is not successful in his career. Fu Xiang (played by Ruco Chan) is a single father without a stable job, always feeling frustrated as his son Xiang Zai gives him the side-eye for his gig work. Jie Shou (played by Jace Chan) often claims to be a second-generation rich kid, yet he works odd jobs daily and is laughed at.
