"Coconut Grove Spring Love" is a major romantic musical film shot by Shaw Brothers in the picturesque setting of Malaysia. The son of a wealthy businessman, Ping Jianren (Lin Chong), has just returned from studying in Italy. Due to his love for music, he is unwilling to inherit his father's business and decides to start a travel agency with his long-time girlfriend, Su Yonglan (Ho Li-Li).
