Beauty therapist Wang Baoling (played by Chen Sijia) who works in Hong Kong from Macau encounters a charming male customer who introduces himself as Shi Zhongjie (played by Si Wei). He seems to be interested in Baoling and gifts her a pair of contact lenses. However, after Baoling puts on the lenses, she frequently sees ghosts and gradually becomes haggard. Shi Zhongjie reveals his true nature and repeatedly entices Baoling. Baoling tries to break free from the control of Shi Zhongjie but it is too late; her boyfriend, who is obsessed with horror novels (played by Lin Weitu), also does not believe her. In desperation, Baoling becomes a ghost servant, manipulating her colleagues to supply Shi Zhongjie for his torment. After hiding at Shi Zhongjie’s place for a night, her boyfriend finally understands the truth and seeks a Taoist to exorcise the ghosts. Unexpectedly, Shi Zhongjie’s methods are superior, and he uses Baoling to kill the Taoist, leading to her boyfriend's death as well. With no one to rely on, Baoling retreats to the countryside, but Shi Zhongjie keeps closing in...
