This film stars Gu Mei as "Little Lark," with a group of popular singers making cameo appearances. It is a romantic comedy about the love story between a singer and a journalist. Gu Mei plays the famous singer Little Lark, who comes to Hong Kong from Bangkok for a performance and accidentally meets Chen Hou's clumsy journalist Liu Shitai. In an attempt to uncover the details of a scandal, Shitai pretends to be a big figure in the entertainment industry from the Nanyang region to get close to Little Lark. Amidst the laughter, genuine feelings develop between them.
