The story takes place in the chaotic streets of Hong Kong. Diao Er (Zhao Xiong) is arrogant, having learned true judo in Japan, and causes trouble after returning to Hong Kong. One day, he seeks confrontation at the loyalty and righteousness martial arts school, where the disciples all try to fight him, but none can match him. Unable to bear it any longer, the school master Li Zhonghai (Fang Mian) leads his favored disciples to jointly attack and injure him, driving him out of the school. Unwilling to accept defeat, Diao Er recruits Japanese ronin Kitajima (Luo Lie) and storms back into the martial arts school; Li Zhonghai, a valiant hero, cannot withstand the attacks from many opponents and suffers a fatal injury leading to his death, while his disciple Lei Ming (Wang Yu) is left critically injured but is saved by his junior sister Xiao Ling (Wang Ping), narrowly escaping a disaster.
