Once upon a time, in the Dai region of China, there was a kingdom called Mengbanza. The king's son, Zhao Shuntun (played by Tang Guoqiang), was handsome, elegant, and brave, but the king was tyrannical and oppressive. Prince Shuntun had no freedom at all, and even his marriage had to be decided by his father. Although the daughters of nobles were charming, none could capture the prince's heart. Eventually, Shuntun secretly left the palace to find his hunter friend, Yankan, in the forest. There, he unexpectedly encountered seven beautiful peacock princesses, who were the daughters of the king of Mengao Dongban.
